Pray Ricochet

Pray Ricochet

At every single incidence
Of hearing the faintest siren blare
However far out in the distance,
She’d shut her eyes in prayer

That siren may not belong, she knows,
To ambushed ‘ulance or patrolling police,
But still her fingers dig her bosom
As her heart reaches out for bliss

“Bliss be with that someone,
That someone in need of this prayer”
For if man doesn’t pray for man unknown,
No echo’d reach out his peer
